Several winding streets run deep into the heart of Orchidia, intersecting each other at some point along their way. In the dark alleys you can find shady folk offering shady wares. While rather wide, there seem to always be ears listening in to the conversations you would rather keep private. There have also been several reports of cutpurses and pickpockets which occurred on these streets. Don't wander around alone unless you are capable of fending yourself off against thugs.

Of each grassy street, merchant stalls line either side some overflowing with their wares. Between some stalls there is a brief respite from the window shopping where some beggars take refuge, their outstretched hands waiting for your alms. The stalls closer to the center of the city seem to be more neat whilst those further away are in more relative disrepair. The market street is relatively safer compared to the general streets for guards tend to patrol here.

Despite the fact that Orchidia does not have many citizens, they still possess a large church which follows the teachings of Illumin. Regardless of the hardships they have to face daily, a lot of the citizens can be found here praying for something good to happen in their lives, or confessing their sins and repenting for them. Most travelers, religious or not, tend to visit the church to witness its beauty and take a break from their travels. Bandits do not dare to stir trouble here because of a few powerful figures in here.
Horizon Apartments

The apartment complex in Orchidia is a six floor high building near the center of the city. It is not entirely cheap to live in compared to the buildings farther away from the center, but compared to buildings in the center it is still considerably cheap. The landlord has removed the plants around the building to renovate it. Unfortunately, the large trees on top of the building could not be removed but its inhabitants do not mind it for it creates a nice shade during the day. The apartments inside are surprisingly quaint and homey.

The station in Orchidia is quite large. It is located inside a large terminal building, filled up with many benches and shops. It seems almost impossible to get bored waiting for a train here, as one can spend their time shopping or dining in here. The station acts as the shining example of good transportation. Even though there is a station here, most travelers seem to be passing through rather than stopping in Orchidia for a stay.

The river running through Orchidia is used for various purposes by the locals. Since it branches out inside the town as well, merchants use it to ship some of their goods in small boats for large boats can not pass through the river. Lamia Scale even guided an extension of the river to serve as a moat surrounding the building. This is an unregulated part of the river however, so it is not advised to hang around these parts late at night. Often times, travelers do tend to take a break here while enjoying the view.

Orchidia is mainly surrounded by forestry. There used to be a problem with a lumberjack settlement cutting wood here, but they were chased out for logging too much of the forest away. As long ago as that was, the forest has expanded exponentially teeming with undergrowth and wildlife. Wild boars, forest Vulcan and even stronger creatures now roam through these woods making it difficult for inexperienced travels to venture through it without a proper party to keep each other's backs safe.

Orchidia
Orchidia has the appearance of an old, overgrown city with streets lined with crumbling, derelict buildings and rough stretches of asphalt buried under carpets of moss and entwined with vines. Annexes and additions have been stacked organically onto the ruins, and the roots of trees spread out across the roads. Closer towards its center, the city is cleaned and repaired to a degree; streets are swept clean of debris, and buildings repainted or decorated.
