What was once the main location of Joya is now a place of ruins and vengeful spirits, a place also people go to mourn and even venture. After the Joyan war of X795, many residents left to join to rebuild in the East. Some residents still stay in the West for either attachment to their ruined homes or their belief in guarding the East against the vengeful and threats by creating a group that lives in the West forever to kill any threat, rather it is undead or alive that tries to go toward the East known as this group is known as 'Legion of the Damned'. They hold a symbol on their armor or cloth as proof.

After the Joyan war of X795, the Eastern side of Joya has become the residential area as the western side of Joya are now in ruins and has been deemed as haunted and cursed due to rumors of Ayame and her followers' spirits roaming around. After the work of the Convocation and the Joyan people, alongside Mishiko the area of the East flourished with homes, hot spots, and a place to feel protected. The Capitol of Joya, Shinkoku, “land of the gods”, is in the East. Other locations such as Kodama Forest where the glowing flowers bloom and radiant blue fill the area, the Mahō-Yuto District where many train and hold tournaments of Mortal Combat, Kyokoyado Muromachi hotel that is owned by a ninja dog with their fellow shinobi and finally the Izakaya where people stay, buy, drink and party.

This location is the largest shrine in Joya. Many of the Kami's have their own dedicated Shrine here, respectfully in their direction. On rare chances, if approved by the Heavenly Palace, one could also find chosen Demi-Kami shrines here. The Shrine maidens and the Head of the Shrines themselves protect it. It is rumored that the Shrine Maidens can summon The Heavenly Nine-tailed fox if all things run into chaos there. To get there, many must climb the stairs up the mountain trail by Sakura blossoms and tall torii. Citizens come here to respect the specific Kami they wish to ask for wishes. In current times, it is also used as a place for festivals.

A Mountain so grand and tall that it is said to get the closest to Heaven. Yet it also keeps the warmth which is what it's known for. From the top by the cliffs, people could gaze at the entire landscape of Joya and the beauty of the lushes forests on a clear day. Most of the time, though, the Mountain is so tall that it is said to be on a bed of clouds. Many people come here to rock climb, enjoy the steaming spa, and train at the arena. A main attraction is the large golden tree of peace and tranquility that many believe was gifted by the Heavenly Empress Amaterasu herself. Not even the mighty Shogun dares to go near this mountain. Due to this, many Monks live up on the mountain, protecting the tree.

Furthest away from the main city lies a crystalline paradise for the dead and brave. Many wars were placed on these shallow plains of water and grass. Now it attracts hunters of stories and treasure due to its extensive history only told by storytellers and book writers, from wars that had unknown demigods and gods to mythological beasts that are said to be just myths that left their remains of large bones, designing the area. Brave souls have searched for these coves, empty, broken ships, and left-behind proofs of history, but much has yet to be found.

Board Description
Joya
Joya is known for its natural sights with cherry blossoms and beautiful mountains. The political structure is quite similar to that of the Western Earthland nations. The highest authority is the Joyan Emperor, however, true power lies within the hands of the Shogun. The country itself is divided into many pieces controlled by feudal lords who constantly battle each other over territory or personal matters. The feudal lords use their samurai for these battles through which the samurai gain honor. Without a lord, they cannot gain honor. Thus, the samurai without lords are considered disgraced ronin. Not everyone is interested in grand battles though. Some feudal lords prefer to hire shinobi to sneak upon their enemies and end a battle from the shadows.
